NODNA is Now Accepting Applications: Research Seed Grant!

The New Orleans District Nurses Association (NODNA) is pleased to announce the availability of its Research Seed Grant, designed to support and advance nurse-led inquiry, innovation, and evidence-based practice. This grant provides funding for proposals that align with NODNA’s mission to support and advocate for nurses through education, health policy, leadership, and the advancement of health for all people within Louisiana.
Eligible proposals may include, but are not limited to:
- Original research
- Clinical innovation projects
- Interprofessional initiatives
- Program evaluation
- Quality improvement projects
- Evidence-based practice initiatives
Priority consideration will be given to NODNA members and proposals that closely align with NODNA’s mission and strategic priorities.
Eligibility & Expectations:
- Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with a current Louisiana or compact license.
- Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the NODNA Research Committee Proposal Guidelines.
- Grant recipients are required to submit a summary report of project outcomes to the NODNA Research Committee within six (6) months following the end of the funding period.
- Recipients must also be willing to present their findings to the NODNA membership within twelve (12) months of project completion.
